It's the birds on the roof!

Hi Brownie

One of their daily hellos to Brownie. Brownie's always looking on our side with envy. I know he wishes he could come over to play with the rest. I wish there was a side gate so he could come over anytime!


You may be wondering why the grill is all covered up. It goes all the way back more than 15 years ago. That was when I still had my Bishon Frise (Cotton) and a Mongrel named Noni. And next door were a few German Shepherds. They are all in doggie heaven now. Anyway, one night my daring Cotton went and barked at the German Shepherds. She put her head too near and one the dogs grabbed her and she went through the grills onto the other side! We heard lots of screaming from the dogs and my mum and I went out and started screaming. Luckily Cotton played dead and finally my neighbour managed to get her dog's mouth to let go. She had a hole in her ear. We rushed to the 24hr hospital at midnight. Thank goodness her ears were long cos it protected her neck. I have never forgotten that terrible night. She had a few stitches and within weeks she was back to her usual self.

This is not the 1st time she did this. The 1st few times the banana tree fell off! This time her hole was not so near the tree so it didn't fall off. After her digs, she always comes back to the house full of sand in her face and paws. Yuck.

Puppies

Not sure what breed they are but I believe they are mongrels.

Tinkerbell has become such a spoilt dog. She had taken to sleeping on our sofa the last few weeks instead of her bed. So I went and got her a big cushion from Ikea. It looks like she's taken to it now. She looks comfy.

Notti Tinkerbell

Tinkerbell's a bad dog today. She sat on Tiffany about 4 or 5 times! Her whole body was over Tiffany and Tiffany was screaming like mad. Tiffany is smaller than Tinkerbell now. I rolled up a newspaper and ran around trying to scold Tinkerbell but she was too fast for me even to give her a whack!

Schmackos

I promised that I'd update on the treats. Well, I gave all 3 one each a marrobone treat yesterday. Rubie and Tinkerbell gobbled up in no time. Only Tiffany's mouth was too small and she had her mouth full and had no idea how to break it up. It was so funny looking at her with her mouth full and looking at me pitifully. In the end, my mum broke it up into small pieces for her. And in order not to let the other two rush for it, they each had another piece. I gave one to Brownie today through the grill and he was so thankful for it:P Can see the look of happiness in his eyes.

Perth Doggies

This is Charlie who is living in Perth.


He looks like he really loves his bed. So cute!


This is Moo, a Jack Russell, who also lives in Perth. I guess you can tell how he got his name by the colour and patches on his body.


Two cute dogs and I have yet to meet them. I wonder when will be the next time I get to go to Perth. Photos were taken by their owners.

I can't believe I was just writing about dogs in Perth and here comes a new puppy!

The latest addition is Bella! She's 10 weeks old. And she's a Labradoodle!

Look what Michelle got from Melbourne?!


These dog treats are supposed to be so yummy that any dog will go wacko for it. I don't know how true it is but we'll find that out soon. I haven't given Tinkerbell a taste of it yet because she has been fussy over her food lately even though I bought her favourite food. She wants cooked food!

SKC Championship Dog Show

I went to the dog show today at Expo. Gosh it was so amazing to see so many dogs running around. Sorry no photos cos I did not bring a camera. Before we even got into the Hall, there was a man entertaining some people with his Jack Russell outside. His dog could sit (as in sit up on two legs). The man told his dog to sit and he walked away and from a distance threw a ball and the dog could catch it! Everyone clapped! It was so cute. I don't know if I can teach Tinkerbell to do that.

Tinkerbell however is a good goal keeper. We kick balls a lot at home and she catches them all the time! She is running faster and faster as she grows.

We got lots of free dog food samples. I've never got so many samples at a dog show but there were at least 2 new brands of dog food and they wanted us to take samples home. Of 'cos when we got back, Rubie was the 1st to smell all the food and wanted us to open it for her. We didn't want to 'cos it's close to dinner time. Instead she ate some raw chye sim when my mum just bought them. There goes out veges for dinner.
