Macau and Hong Kong

I made a special trip to visit my friend in Hong Kong. It was fun but the walking was a challenge. We did so much walking my poor feet were crying. There were so much to see that I just had to continue walking. We went to Macau where she had won a 2 nights stay in the Venetian Macau Resort. I had a feeling they chose the wrong person to win since we do not gamble:P

A very friendly and smiling dog walking alone in the streets of Macau.

Some stray dogs.

The ruins of St Paul's church.

Our hotel suite!

View of the putting green from our room. We played and it was the worst putting green I ever played. It was fake grass and we had trouble finding our next hole as the numbers of the holes were all over. Since there weren't anyone playing, we just play whatever hole we saw next:P

Venetian Resort at night.

Inside the resort. You'll never know when it's night time.

It is huge! Took us a day to explore the whole place. Plenty of shops.

The only dog photo I managed to take on the street in HK. It's quite huge considering HK's small apartments. One jump and I'm sure it would be on the other end of the apartment:P Not sure what breed this dog is but it looked like it was smiling while walking.

Dog Friendly Switzerland

This is a really belated post of the dogs I saw in Switzerland during my trip in January. It's better late than never right!?

We went to Zermatt and there was this pretty bird.

Was so excited to see a St Bernard on top of the mountain. It was there to have photos taken with people.

Later on we went to see the Matterhorn and we just had to have our photos taken with these lovely giants. There were no obligations to buy the photos if it weren't nice, so we took the chance! We ended up buying 2 of the photos out of the 4 he took of us.

They look so sweet together.

We were on the cable car when a dog, who looked like she has been taking cable cars all her life, walked in. Her owner didn't even need to put her on leash.

Later on she found a small spot and jumped up onto the seat. A lady sitting there had to get up to let it sit.

In no time she was asleep. I think she had a long day in the snow.

A bit disappointed with the blur photo. This dog was waiting in the supermarket for its owner.

This was in Lucerne.

It was playing with a stick and running to catch it whenever its owner threw the stick.

Saw this photo in an advertisement for family portraits. I think this is really cool!

Then we headed to Lausanne

Love this cute dog! It really looks like a cuddly bear.

Being parked outside the shop.

In Bern, this dog was waiting outside the shop.

Then another owner parked his dog near the black dog. After awhile it realised it doesn't like the black dog and started barking very loud and really long too! Guess its owner never heard its cries!

Our last day in Switzerland, we went to Kleine Scheidegg.

Was pleasantly surprised to see more lovely dogs.

This one looked like it went for trekking.

I'm amazed how dogs can stand the cold. Tiffany and Tinkerbell start to shiver when they're wet, I don't know if they can ever survive cold weather. Besides, they love to sun tan. Maybe Rubie will have no problem cos she loves to eat and that would keep her warm!:D

Maggie The Mathematic Dog

This dog is just so amazing! I can't believe how smart a dog can be.

Sorry for the lack of posts! I've been so busy travelling. I do have nice doggie photos but I have yet to sort them out! I will get to it soon!

Rockin' Girl Blogger!

Wow this is too cool. Thanks Chilli for awarding us this award!

This award which was started by Roberta Ferguson. If you know a girl, who is totally awesome, and has a blog... then you give her the award. Pass it on to more rockin' chicks, then they pass it on, and so forth.

I tag, in no particular order, Bella, Rabbitto bunny, Amber, and Jessica. I just realised we read lots of boy doggie blogs too! heheh

Dogs in Cameron Highlands

Finally had time to post these photos. We were in Cameron Highlands in Malaysia earlier in May and we were pleasantly surprised to find some cute dogs staying in the estate where we spent the night. Unfortunately they would not come near us as we're strangers to them. They are close to the indian workers there and followed them everywhere.

The cute one.

The 3 dogs who run around the estate.

I could take these close up photos cos we were talking to the indian man. That was my only chance and after that the dogs only looked at us from afar.

This is one of the tea plantations over there. Lovely view.

Tiffany Look Alike

We were in the pet shop today and guess what?! 2 Shih Tzus and one of them looks exactly like Tiffany! I can't believe it cos I haven't seen any Shih Tzus like Tiffany.

Doggie getting a motorbike ride

Someone posted this up on Stomp. I thought it was quite hilarious.

I've seen a dog on a motorbike before but it was just sitting between the couple with no safety harness. I've always thought Tinkerbell should have a ride on the bike because she only barks at 2 wheelers for some reason. I just want to assure her that it's like sitting in the car. I sound crazy like as if Tinkerbell would understand. Maybe she would?!

Kranji

Warning: photos are blur, taken by mobile phone. My hands were probably shaking too much after a game of golf.

Someone came to feed this dog. It was eating from the plastic bag but because there were a lot of monkeys around, it ran with the plastic bag to somewhere safer.

2 monkeys with their babies.

The same 2 monkeys. If you can see, the babies are darker in colour.

This jack russell had the time of it's life barking at the monkeys and scaring it up the trees. The other bigger stray dog just looked on. Later on the jack russell's owner came and they both went around scaring the monkeys and they made loud screeching sounds. At one point, I wonder if the owner or the dog was having fun. But I also felt sad for the monkeys being chased. Unfortunately, the humans there were feeding the monkeys which caused the monkeys to be quite agreesive.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

The new year started with a BBQ with family. The dogs especially had a blast. They got to eat bits of Swiss Butchery meat! How blessed are they?

Waiting for the 1st scraps of food to be dropped.

My cousins tried to get photos of them with food in front of the camera.

Tiffany is smiling here.

All 3 dogs smiling:D That is because they are looking at food.

Rubie waiting patiently for more food.

Tinker getting a pat from my cousin's kid.

Tired after all that photo taking and eating. Tiffany sticks to Rubie all the time. Always sitting very close to her even when they sleep.

2nd BBQ at night. Rubie and Tinkerbell checking out the food.
