Oh dear...it happened again!


This was the 1st sign we got of the false pregnancy. Just when we wanted to steralise her (date at the vet all booked), her period came. The vet told us that we can't let her have the op till 3 months later. It's not even 3 months yet and she's developed another round of false pregnancy. This time didn't seem as bad as the 1st time.

The next day, she was stuck to the bed. This is not actually her bed, she normally sleeps in a bigger one. But I think she feels closer to her toys.


I didn't help her bring her toys in. She carried them in herself.


Later she stuffed more toys in.

It has been nearly a week she's been like that. She never wants to get out of bed to walk around or eat. She wants to be with her toys all day long.


To help her feel better, we got these toys for her other day and she is caring for them now. They are her favourites and if you take it away she'll whine non stop. She'll lick them and put them nicely with her.

I think she'll make a good mother!

I was Ducked!



Can you imagine that Tinkerbell was barking at this duck the other night?! She was very weary of it and stood far away and checking it out. In the end, my dad patted the duck and she realised it was fake!

Underdog



Has anyone watched this movie? We watched it last week and it was really quite a nice show. I wonder why one of the reviews I read gave it only 2 stars! They sure weren't dog lovers!!

Go watch it!! Now if only my dogs can talk like this one. How awesome!

Feeling Sad

This was some time back when our domestic helper was going home for good. I am so sure Tiffany understood and the look on her face says it all!

It was truly a sad day as even the neighbour's domestic helpers were balling their eyes out! Only Rubie and Tinkerbell were oblivious to the things happening that day!

I saw a Frog!

Tinkerbell was barking so long and we went to check it out. Oh gosh she was barking at the small little creature. I'm sure it was quite frightened.


"Hey you! I want to sniff you."


The frog.. or is it a toad?


"Don't hop away!" Looks like the frog got cornered.


"Okie, I'll give you some breathing space, I'm standing further back."


"Just one more sniff!"

Tinkerbell did lick the frog I think and it gave her an after taste. She kept sticking her tongue out like as if it was yucky. I think it taught her a lesson about licking things.

Snuggling


On a rainy day, snuggling in between legs is the perfect way to pass time.

Hi doggie friends! Sorry for the lack of updates lately. Been busy with work and also haven't been taking photos of the dogs much. I think they are happy about the no photos part cos they really hate to take photos!


Tinkerbell being a pain. Always disturbing Rubie and trying to lick Rubie's mouth. If you look carefully, Tiffany's sticking her tongue out.

Too talkative




Every night after dinner, Tiffany will start talking. It usually means she's asking for after dinner snacks. She's the one that usually asks and the rest just wait for the snack to arrive.

I don't know how she makes those funny noises. She's just one funny dog. She will just stare very hard at you and go on non stop until you feel so sorry for her.

My Favourite Toys...

Other than her bear bear, the ball and the Frisbee are her favourites. The frisbee isn't something to catch in the air but more like for a tug of war!!

Heart-kun



This is soooo sweet! A Chihuahua puppy born in May in Japan with a heart shaped pattern! The pup is named Heart-kun.

Cleaning Mouth

I don't know what's up with Tinkerbell but she loves licking in between Rubie's teeth! And Rubie has been a very good gal by putting up with Tinkerbell's nonsense. This went on for a full 10 minutes!

We got bad breath

The pet shop recommended we let them chew on these treats because of bad breath.


Rubie hurriedly gobbled it up. She was done in 2 minutes. I don't even know if she chewed it or swallowed it. She eats like a bottomless pit!



Tiffany as usual was the slowest and took her time to chew.


She had a hard time chewing but she loved it and managed to finish it after half an hour!


Tinkerbell also finished hers in a few minutes.


Greedy Rubie as usual waited to see if she had a chance to have Tiffany's. Rubie was very patient with Tiffany and it's good that she doesn't really snatch from her.

Dogs in Cameron Highlands

Finally had time to post these photos. We were in Cameron Highlands in Malaysia earlier in May and we were pleasantly surprised to find some cute dogs staying in the estate where we spent the night. Unfortunately they would not come near us as we're strangers to them. They are close to the indian workers there and followed them everywhere.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RUBIE & TIFFANY

Last weekend we celebrated Rubie's 8th birthday. We don't know when Tiffany's birthday is so she celebrates with Rubie every year. She should be 9 yrs old. The dogs were treated to homemade cake. It turned out to look like a doughnut instead...oops!
