Penang Dogs

We spent a few days in Penang and was pleasantly surprised to find so many dogs.


The 1st Penang dog I saw. Looks like she had just given birth. Wonder where her puppies went.


Life as a beach dog... You get a friend as a horse.


Some people there keep monkeys as pets and chain them up. It's kinda sad to see a wild animal being chained up.


I got to see the beach dogs getting their dinner.


All are being fed on a newspaper. Looking at the amount of food they eat, I'd say that Tinkerbell is probably eating the same portion as what they get and she is only a 1/3 of their size!


"Don't come near me! I'm eating!"

She dug a little hole and put herself onto the sand. So cute.

I think I saw more dogs than local food in Penang!

Tinkerbell entertains herself with chasing and looking at birds. The birds all come out during the evening where they retire to the trees nearby.

...Rubie is just nowhere to be found. Probably waiting in the kitchen for some food.

An Evening at Bishan Dog Run

Took Tinkerbell to the Bishan dog run. She ended up meeting so many chihuahuas.


We didn't dare let her off her leash as one black chihuahua didn't like her very much and they would start fighting. But after a while they soon got distracted and Tinkerbell was off leashed and quite enjoyed running around. It didn't last very long when Tinkerbell decided to pounce on one chihuahua and it was yelping for help. Naughty Tinkerbell was back on her leash.


She met a puppy, so cute.

"Can I look at what's in your bag?" I think this one's called Muffin.




I recognise this puppy from this blog. Her name's Kaylie. She is just so cute. Tinkerbell met her brother Jaffe and was knocked by him a few times while being chased by this labrador. The labrador chased her ard a few times and Tinkerbell looked as if she was running for her life. Never saw her run so fast! Luckily there weren't any fights.

Perth Doggies: Bella

Finally got to meet Bella. She is as active as Tinkerbell. She runs like crazy just like Tinkerbell. She's got the same energy level as Tinkerbell except she's like 10 times bigger!


The more you look at her, the cuter she looks.



Staring at me through the sliding door. She's not allowed inside the house.


I guess she owns the chair now.




She has this habit of dropping her toy in the pool and grabbing it out. She gets all wet and splashes water all around when she gets excited. I was trying very hard to be dry:D

I think Tinkerbell would be her great friend with their kind of energy level. Tinkerbell, would you like to move to Perth?...

Perth Doggies: Austin

Austin's pretty old now. He's still active and barky though. I suppose that's a good thing.


He's actually excited to go out because we asked him to get the ball.



Looking at me through the glass door. He's being kept in the laundry area.


He kinda looks like a corgi here. Cute. I'm sure Tinkerbell would love playing with him.

Perth Doggies: Moo

You'd never guessed that this dog was a noisy dog. Moo is abt 4 years old. He's such a sweetie and the owner said that it took 3 yrs before he tamed down. Looks like I have to wait another 2 more yrs for Tinkerbell to be like him. He's much smaller than Tinkerbell.

Back from Perth

The trip to Perth was just awesome. Met all my friends and of cos their doggies too! And one cat. I guess it will just take me awhile before I will put the photos up.

Dogs Have Feelings

I brought Tiffany home last night as it has been some time Tiffany got to stay over. She always gets real excited when I tell her she can go.

Somehow halfway through the evening, Tinkerbell felt the need to be away from Tiffany and went under the sofa. She had earlier tried ways and means to let Tiffany know that this house was her territory. She even pounced on Tiffany for no reason. Poor Tiffany always gets bullied by her.


We tried to get Tinkerbell out and she was quite unwilling. Usually only when she does something wrong, she'll hide under the sofa. Anyway, we threw a ball and she got out pretty quickly:P

When bed time came, I showed Tiffany her regular bed but Tinkerbell was not too happy and kept jumping onto Tiffany's bed. But by morning, I guess Tinkerbell had realised she couldn't sleep on 2 beds and I saw both of them sleeping on their beds.


In a rare sight, while I was having my breakfast, both of them lying side by side. It's amazing Tinkerbell let Tiffany lie on her cushion.

We will have to get Tiffany to come over more often.

Punggol Fun

A few Sundays ago while hubby was playing with his toy helicoptor, Tinkerbell had a ball running around the big field in Punggol. She quite like the grass and even rolled around in the grass. She had to have a bath when we got home.






I don't think she has ever had so much fun running around but she was limited to the length of the leash which was on 5m. Of cos I ended up walking quite a bit.

The Dalmation and The Mixed Hushpuppy

Met up close with this dalmation who was barking crazily at me but as soon as I whipped up my camera and started snapping away, she got shy.





Staring at me and wondering when I was going to stop taking photos.


Still staring after a long while. Both walked away further and further until they went behind to hide.

Plant Destroyers



Tinkerbell destroyed one of my mum's plants. Naughty dog.


The worse part is that Tiffany joined her in eating up the leaves.

Snuggle Snuggle


Tinkerbell likes sitting on the sofa with us. Here she is looking quite comfortable with hubby.

Meeting Buddy Face to Face

We brought Buddy over to introduce her to the rest. Unfortunately, Tinkerbell was so jumpy around her, they almost started fighting. It was almost impossible to tear them apart. Luckily Buddy is not violent like Tinkerbell. We had to bring Buddy out of the house and put Tinkerbell on a leash to introduce them again. Thankfully, the leash tamed Tinkerbell.

Rubie meeting Buddy face to face. We learnt out lesson with Tinkerbell and put Rubie on the leash just in case. She wasn't very interested and ran off soon after smelling Buddy a bit. Her dinner was more important!
